Summary

The error DMExpress is unable to connect to the server is generated when any of the following conditions occur:

To resolve the issue, confirm that all of the above conditions are cleared.

Symptom

When the DMExpress client attempts to connect to the DMExpress server from the GUI, the following error is generated:

DMExpress is unable to connect to the server.

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Resolution

The DMExpress client can connect to the DMExpress server only when the below conditions are confirmed.
