Summary

The INVKEYTP error is generated when the DMExpress license key used to install DMExpress or run the applykey utility contains keys that are invalid for the given software release.

To resolve this error, verify that the DMExpress license key file, DMExpressLicense.txt, does not contain any license keys that are invalid for the software release. Then, either re-run the installation or the applykey utility using an original license key file containing only valid keys, or obtain and apply a new DMExpress license key file.

How to Identify an Open Workstation Key

An open workstation key is always located at the end of the DMExpress license key file, and its commented description line contains the Site ID in place of the nodename and ends with 0000-0.

# The following line is REQUIRED and must be the first line in license key file.

"ABC Corp"

# DMExpress 09/30/2010 09/29/2015 "node_u1" "0" 2 * * 13324 65530 57331 * 415 0 99.99.99 * X999-5
