Resolving the INVMODEL License Key Error
The INVMODEL error is generated when the internal model value of the DMExpress license key file does not match the internal model of the system on which you install/run DMExpress or run the applykey utility.
To resolve this error, determine the internal model of your system by running the Syncsort License Information program and then either reapply the existing key if it matches, or obtain and apply a new key if it doesn't.
The INVMODEL error can occur under any of the following conditions:
A change occurred to the internal model of the UNIX/Linux or Windows system due to a hardware upgrade.
A change occurred to the bit level of the Windows system.
The wrong DMExpress license key is applied to DMExpress or used in the DMExpress installation. For example, if you attempt to install DMExpress on a new server using a DMExpress license key file that does not contain a license key for the new server.
Resolve the INVMODEL error as follows:
Run the Syncsort License Information program as follows to generate the license information file, SyncsortLicenseInfo.txt:
Find the internal model value in your license key file, DMExpressLicense.txt. The internal model value is highlighted in the following example DMExpress license key, where the actual license is masked out with x's:
# The following line is REQUIRED and must be the first line in the license key file.
